DonkeyHotey art is most commonly found at the DonkeyHotey Flickr photostream where the images have received over five million views.

The art of DonkeyHotey is a combination of caricature, photo collage and photo manipulation. The resulting work can be categorized as caricature, cartoon, illustration and art depending on the intent.

On this blog, I have documented over 1,700 editorial uses of DonkeyHotey art on websites around the world including repeated uses on BuzzFeed, Campaign for America’s Future, CBS MoneyWatch, Common Dreams, Daily Kos, Examiner.com, Fast Company, Esquire.com, Firedoglake, Forbes, In These Times, IPS, Mother Jones, Neon Tommy, The Guardian, The Jimmy Dore Show, Truthdig, and dozens of others.

I am looking for a home base

I would like very much to work as part of an editorial team focused on producing digital content. One great benefit to me would be have access to a larger pool of images to use in my compositions. Now I restrict my selection of raw images to Creative Commons and public domain sources. Being on staff with a publishing entity would expand my creative options dramatically.

So far, I have posted over 1,300 images under Creative Commons license at Flickr. This has enabled publishers to find and publish my work. I have viewed this as a way to improve my work and to see what editors are looking for in artwork. I feel that I am ready to begin working full time for a publisher or to get involved at a digital startup or other project where my work would fill a need.  If you are interested in working together contact me using this form.
